Work Life Balance is great, salary is great, work volume is nice and maintainable
Communication from outside the areas and teams. There is no common goal in the company.
Slash the amount of management we have. Create clear communication paths. Make all decisions observable and let people impact the goal of the company.
Inside the team working is fun
This is very good, i can work how long i want, when i want as long as the tickets get done
This depends on the team you are in. If you are lucky like me this is nice
It is unclear what the goals are. There is a communication gap between what has been done to what the managers think has been done. Roadmaps are not synced at all with product
I work mostly from home so i define the environment i work in
There are meetings, but all of them talk about what needs to be done. No wins, no next steps, no vision communications
People at Paymenttools are truly inspiring! Working here makes me feel respected and truly motivated. Since I have joined everyone was friendly, kind and very supportive on welcoming me to the team and teaching me a lot every day. The learning curve and personal space is respected, at the same time as we are encouraged to take further steps on our growth and building amazing products with the team.
There is a very well functioning work-life balance, the environment is healthy, projects are planned well to avoid stress. The team works trust based and with that we reach a lot of efficiency splitting tasks and addressing new topics.
The company is growing but still has an overall "small" friendly environment with people knowing each other and speaking often. We have clear access to management level and can discuss topics with relative openess.
A great place to work :)
Employee benefits could improve.
There could be improved benefits such as Learning Budgets and the possibility to work abroad for a few days. Since the company has now more and more international employees, the point of combining vacation with working days would be amazing.
People are truly kind and open. I feel like my time is respected, at the same time as I am incentivised to learn new things and be pro-active.
Flexibility with working hours and hybrid working mode. We have an amazing office to go to and can also work from home when needed. Good planning also make the projects well-prepared and less stressful. Work-life-balance is great.
Everyone is super nice, however the company is still moving to a more english speaking environment so we need time for everyone to adapt.
The people and the various tasks
The atmosphere is very open, supportive, and motivating. You really feel that your contribution matters and that you are part of something meaningful.
The company truly values work-life balance. Flexible working hours and hybrid options make it easy to combine professional and personal life without stress.
There are plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth. Employees are encouraged to keep learning, explore new topics, and take part in trainings or projects that broaden their skills. Continuous development is really supported here.
The team spirit is outstanding - colleagues support each other, celebrate successes together, and are there to help when challenges arise. Collaboration is based on trust and respect.
Managers are approachable, and show genuine appreciation for their teams.
The tasks are varied, challenging, and meaningful. There is plenty of room to contribute your own ideas, take responsibility, and continuously learn.
Immer weniger
S.o.
Neue Kunden : Fehlanzeige
Bei uns gut
Schlecht, man will lieber Gen Z
Zwischen den Abteilungen kaum vorhanden
Very open, energetic and integrating culture. Great Onboarding.
Flexible work. I can't flex this enough, this is really good. Never in my life i had more flexible work times and locations. Compensation for work also is great.
Like mentioned above the communication of new opportunities from c level to the rest could and should be improved.
More involvement of architects/engineers into leads would be nice. Better project management so deadlines are more relaxed would also be a nice benefit.
I work fully remote and can't make it otherwise. This is accepted and due to the full flex nature of the company i can work whenever i want. The only required meetings are once a week so one can plan them accordingly.
I haven't heard much bad from customers or others when it comes to REWE or paymenttools in general. I would say this is a solid image and i'm proud to say that i work here.
I would rate this 12/10. Due to my personal situation i need lots of ad-hoc time for dealing with it. This was never easier than in this company. I work fully remote with no core working time. There is no work time tracking. If you get your stuff done nobody will ask you when and how you have done it
Most of the decisions we take as a company (currently) don't have a special environmental aspect in them
If you want you can get education as long as it's profitable for the company. You can take all sorts of online courses (be it code warrior, online certs from AWS/GCP/Azure etc.). It's also possible to get trainers for learning. There are also workshops from time to time to exchange knowledge gained with others (also across companies in the REWE group)
In engineering where i work we have good collaboration on problems. We discover improvements and implement them together. Never had a problem with finding someone to bounce ideas off and getting proper feedback on ideas (may they be bad or good).
We have younger and older colleagues and never had a problem with it. It feels that everyone can talk to anyone without any fear and borders. This is very refreshing since there is no set "mindset" in most people.
This is a downside of this company i feel. C Level is heavily disconnected from the daily operations and projects. They are more focused on getting deals closed and don't involve the company beforehand. This leads to "pop-up" projects which have deadlines which are not exactly easy to hold. Involving the company earlier into those processes of closing new deals would improve this situation a ton.
Like i said above full flex on working hours / location. You get a macbook and can use it for everything you need (i also use it for private stuff from time to time). I also use the Jobrad heavily and the other discounts the company offers due to it being part of REWE group
Communication is a bit hard sometimes. Many leads are "hidden by default" due to c level needing to sign strict NDAs with the involved party. This for my feeling could improve since we all have a NDA with the company which should hold for such kind of situations (excluding the externals maybe)?
The salary is good industry standard. You on yourself are responsible for dealing new conditions though. This is a plus for me since i don't like "general" union style contracts where someone else defines your worth of work. For socials this is regulated, you get german insurances and rent plans.
Since this is a highly regulated environment it's fun to deal with that kind of challenges. Also the amount of volume we need to move is nice to have and the amount of detail this requires is something i like.
In my opinion, there is no appreciation on management level. The tone is very often harsh. No fun at work anymore really.
I have the feeling it's getting worse
flexible working hours and remote is posisble
The last seven more negative reviews were deleted.
Due to the culture, colleagues are afraid of making mistakes
Really depends on your position, Departement, and self-discipline
No actions are taken or supported
Most of the time that is really really good. And most colleagues are really talented and really fun to work with.
No empowerment, encouragement and lack of trust
Lack of transparent communication. Information are keep are often kept in an inner circle and only shared from time to time. This has an impact of efficiency of the product development.
I heard that lots of women feel treated unfairly
Young and energetic
Staying focused in delivering values to customers, at the same time taking care of employees.
Well, i have never experienced a bad day or vibes. I was hoping to move to the new hall office, but now we are looking for anything else.
i have the maximum flexibility in working hours, and taking care of private manners
nothing to add
is improving, new manager are joining and have time to take care of their teams.
never had such a great hardware from apple, wow thank you
welcome Asana, this brings a lot of transparency
So verdient kununu Geld.
