The working atmosphere can only be described as toxic. It is dominated by fear and surveillance. Not as bad as before, when tears and mental breakdowns were part of everyday life, but in fact this has only improved superficially.
This is by far the biggest insolence in this deviant company!
You'd think people would have learned something here. They haven't learned anything! 1000 employees were laid off, but no, not the executives who are responsible for all this crap. Not the lazy and incompetent underperformers in management positions. Not the manipulative people who exploit their subordinates. In fact, they stayed and the good ones were fired or forced to quit. What has remained is absolute sediment. It's unbelievable that you now have to find so much inability concentrated.
There were so many excellent testers and Firsts here, but the Leads and everything above are the worst. They try to manipulate you and to play their subordinates off against each other, they lie to you in the boldest way, do not keep agreements and even deny them. Then you are constantly told that you only have to work in advance if you want more money or holidays. So you work your *** off and demonstrably belong to the top performers, but you don't get anything for it. If you then complain, people are fired directly with blatantly invented reasons. So the whole thing is pure exploitation. Nothing has changed.
Excellent in the lower ranks, still a merciless fight in management.
Except for some routine stuff now and then, the work as such is usually very nice, varied and challenging.
Before the mass layoffs, the leaders made fun of and lied to the people. This has only improved to the extent that the dishonest communication has been completely stopped. There is still very good communication among colleagues in the lower ranks, but often only with reservations, as the climate promotes mistrust.
Communication with superiors may seem open and honest, but in fact this is only an act. Many of these "heads" are only concerned with obtaining private information in order to use it in contract negotiations against one and to keep employees on track.
Some are just more equal than others. There is only a chance for promotion if you crawl diligently into your superior's backside and always nod everything off. Then a little bit more adorn with borrowed plumes and nothing stands in the way of the teamlead position.

First of all, there is nothing of any value.
A tiny grant to the HVV card. That's it.
It's just a way to vegetate at the subsistence level.
Even now, about 3 years after the introduction of the minimum wage, the head of our department still claims to have arranged this "salary increase"!
And yes! Before the introduction of the German policy's legal(!) minimum wage, Goodgames paid far below this limit!
And yes: It is even true when Goodgames claims in one of the hypocritical press releases that nobody actually gets the minimum wage. Of course you can say that if you pay 40€ above the minimum wage...

Everything, but the current superiors are by far the most heinous thing about this dishonest sweatshop. Behind closed doors, the lies and the bossing, the subtle manipulation and the subliminal threats of job loss really come off. In addition, they pursue their own secret agenda, which is usually based simply on the justification of their own position.
