Are you ready to take the next step in your career and drive the sales of AFRY Switzerland’s hydropower business?

As the person responsible for client relations and sales within the Swiss hydropower organization, you will play a key role in developing our target markets and building long-term client relationships.

You will be part of and work closely with the HYDROPOWER team, counting 130 highly qualified and dedicated engineers and project managers. The sales activities are managed and executed in close collaboration with key account managers and selected technical experts.

HEAD OF CLIENT RELATIONS AND SALES, HYDROPOWER SWITZERLAND - ZÜRICH

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze the development of the hydropower business in our target markets: Europe, Canada, Middle East, CIS countries, and Africa
• Develop sales strategies and approaches for selected clients and opportunities
• Coordinate and prepare proposals
• Finalize contracts and support project teams in after-sales activities
• Collaborate with regional sales teams for opportunities beyond AFRY Switzerland’s target markets, including South America, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Austria, India, Thailand, and Australia
• Develop and maintain sales materials and AI-based applications

YOUR PROFILE:

• University degree in Engineering preferably in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Solid understanding of the hydropower sector
• Experience in the sale of professional services
• Strong commercial mindset combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ability to motivate and guide them
• Fluency in English; German or additional languages are considered a strong asset
• Willingness to travel internationally
