The companies' challenge is quite a big one. It always pushes you to learn more and think outside of the box towards problem-solving.
Onedot is open to trying new things, lowest bureaucracy I've ever seen and very transparent leadership. As an employee, you have easy access from accounting to marketing plans.

The office location is not the best one. Being Schlieren outside of Zurich and in a kind of industrial area there were almost no afterwork drinks. Which is something that helps to keep a cohesive and happy team.
The office infrastructure could be better. There still some work to be done in terms of fine-tuning responsibility for some positions to keep a balanced workload across the company.
Clearer communication about educational opportunities and/or budget would help to better align personal growth expectations with company’s vision.

The stuff you learn there is extremely valuable. The role was exciting and rewarding.
The tasks were always acceptable. Nevertheless, the less interesting work needed also to get done.
The challenges I faced on the codebase have allowed growing my knowledge in a very short period of time. I really enjoyed every step and was able to fully cover full round the job of a frontend developer.

The education of employees was encouraged. There were some of the employees who could work part-time and study besides work.
Progression happens very fast, as far as you can show results the employers are happy to discuss a full contract.
During my time there I learned and became comfortable with Scala.
