Was Mitarbeitende sagen
Was Mitarbeitende gut finden
I really like the regular exchange between the developers and the current tech stack.
Tech stack, you can increase your market value fast and leave.
Colleagues. Benefits. Field. Events
Was Mitarbeitende schlecht finden
It often feels like developers end up being the cleanup crew for product work that wasn’t properly prepared. The same pattern repeats: a new “great idea” has to be implemented immediately, even though the problem isn’t fully understood, requirements stay vague, key details get postponed with a “we’ll figure it out later,” and the real impact only becomes visible once we’re already deep into implementation, as if that’s just normal. People call it “agile,” but in reality, it’s more like ...
Communication, intransparency of salaries and raises, brainwashing everyone into the "family but no pay" and "money isnt important" lie.
Drowning out workforce to say months after it was already decided that there is no pay raise. Most tech guys have no raise for 2,3,4 or more years and are sick of it.
Mutli culutirsm is abused here as workforce frlm outside eu is locked in as they cant easily find another job.
EWD uses this to then not increase salaries.
I've had a horrible experience at the company. Firstly, I was hired for a position while the company still had an agency working on the tasks that I was supposed to be doing. But let's start with the fact that the manager, is quite unprofessional. According to her CV, she is the manager of the team and she doesn't have relevant education + not that many years of experience. She barely had time to explain anything, giving my onboarding to ...
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Reward the workers who are working hard, hire the right people to lead and manage.
Stop pretending to be a tech-first company until you start valuing the people who build your platforms. Pay market-rate salaries, share the record profits with the workforce, and stop being petty about basic benefits. Respect is earned, and right now, the Group is losing the respect of its entire digital workforce.
Developers need more appreciation as real partners, not just ticket implementers. That’s not only about money, but also about how work is prepared, how much context and ownership they get, and whether they’re equipped with the right tools to do the job properly.

A very LGBTQ+ friendly, 50+ nationalities and counting. Love the people here!
There is genuinely equality.
The company genuinely supports equality and inclusion, and it is something that is reflected in everyday work life rather than just being a statement on paper. Overall, this has been a really positive experience and is definitely one of the company’s strengths.
Sehr internationales Team!
All employees are treated equally and respected. This is a very international company.
Communication within teams and squads can be very efficient, and there are many colleagues who are genuinely excellent communicators. At this level, information is usually shared openly and collaboration works well.
The problems start when it comes to communication from management. It often lacks transparency, with important context and information not being shared openly. There is also a perception that management mainly communicates what reflects positively on them, while avoiding or downplaying less favorable topics.
Communications are pretty clear when it comes to cutting off benefits or zero pay raise or that one setback in an entire year. We have a wall of praise where we praise people for making ppts, setting up outlooks events and copy pasting Jira tickets but never for the actual engineers who work hard.
It’s pretty problematic when it’s top down because that’s not really working, but bottom up doesn't work either since it just falls on deaf ears. Things are usually fine between colleagues, though they’re the ones actually keeping everything running.
Extremely unsatisfactory comminication! My manager was responsible for a team of 20 individuals without allocating time for meaningful one-on-one interactions. She seemed unaware of the challenges I consistently brought to her attention and at the end she used those against me. I felt unsupported and undervalued. It's concerning that leadership put someone who lacks the necessary qualifications as a teamlead of a team 20! It appeared her primary focus was impressing higher-ups rather than effectively managing the team. I was ...
Karriere und Weiterbildung
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Career opportunities are very limited, as there are currently no changes or growth. Additional training opportunities are available within the budget, but unfortunately, there is a lack of coordination with future technological challenges, and restrictions are in place to ensure that not too many people attend the same conference. In addition, it is expected that new knowledge will also be easily acquired during work alongside normal tasks. Therfore more attention should be paid to ensuring that developers are well prepared ...
On the one hand, there are plenty of opportunities to learn and gain valuable experience, especially through interesting projects and industry domain. On the other hand, career progression within the company is quite limited. There are few opportunities to move into more senior positions or transition into different roles, making it difficult to build a clear career path internally.
If you want to take the next step in your career, you will likely have to look outside the company.
1500 Euro jährliches Weiterbildungsbudget
A variety of learning and development opportunities through training and workshops support employees' career goals. Permanent employees have access to a learning budget and opportunities for internal advancement.
