The company's products are exciting and the niche market in which the company operates is also interesting.
Many employees define the working environment as toxic where people do not trust and support each other. Yelling is a normal practice in conversations in the office. The management aims to have total control over how the company functions. Therefore, employees one way or another have to deal with the management. "Even monkeys can do that better" is an expression used by management when they talk with an employee who presents his/her work. "That is a stupid question" is another common statement of the management when employees dare to ask a question. The management style of the company is a very high degree of "command and control" which is based on threats, pressure and fear. Employees hear and see repeated stories of their colleagues crying after meetings with the management. There is a significant turnover of employees. Opportunities of learning and development are minimal. Information sharing is quite restricted. Almost all of the information is collected at the management level which decides how to share information.
