This company does not have enough employees, so you are always working overtime.
- There needs to be a specific protocol of reporting issues that is not just telling your manager and never hearing about it again. There needs to be priority in fixing and repairing equipment that does not work. A lot of repairs get shrugged off and our techs end up buying cords and equipment with their own money to do their job.
This job and company taught me how to be flexible, think outside of the box, and do what I needed to get the job done. I learned what to do to get things we needed. I learned to stand up for myself. I got to work with elderly people on a day basis, which is one of the most fulfilling demographics to work with.
There is not as much of a priority on getting equipment fixed, or finding out how to get equipment that is desperately needed, as I would hope for. I feel that there should be a better system for reporting issues so that there is a road for resolution. Pay should be a little higher so that techs will stay longer, that was there is not always a lack of staff.
