Nichts. Überstunden en Masse
Since most of the team is young, the environment is pleasant and energetic.
The team was very inclusive from the beginning. I very quickly felt like no stranger in the office, which is uncommon in nowadays work spaces.
It is a pretty modern work environment where you can relax playing table tennis after lunch, playing some darts with the other colleagues, or by cooking for other co-workers in the kitchen.
Overall I would say it is a great place to flourish!
Solactive's branch value itself says everything. Being on top for the decades into German Index marketing deserves a huge appreciation. However at the same time, the higher management is easily approachable and always ready to listen for any improvement or suggestion.
the company is super open minded when it comes to changes. Solactive will support you if you bring up new ideas on how to improve or automate existing processes.
Your opinion counts and I was always encouraged to tell the truth and give honest feedback (even when the feedback wasn‘t very positive)
Where do I even begin? Unsurprisingly, the root of the problem lies with the management. While the company's business model of spending as little as possible and selling cheap may be viable, it’s not sustainable without showing appreciation for the people who actually keep things running.
Employees often work overtime, yet their voices go unheard. Everything seems to require the CEO’s final approval. Even if he doesn’t explicitly demand that kind of reverence, the culture suggests otherwise, as if we’re ...
Chronically understaffed, no career opportunities
toxic work environment where everyone is just focused on themselves
Management in Berlin
Senior Management knows exactly where the weak spots of the company are and yet they will rather let >30% of the employees leave the company each year than to address and work on their issues
They do not hear the criticism and the management believe they know it all and best. If you have so many people leaving and so few staying for more than 2 years, you should realize you are doing something wrong.
Listen to your employees and be more open to change. Just that we always did it like this, doesn't mean that that's the best way to do it.
Absolutes Chaos vor allem bei HR und der HR Leitung. Gehalt wird falsch oder verspätet ausgezahlt
How many times does it need to be said, top management should start listening to their employees. Acting like you've discovered America doesn't make it true. Others did that a long time ago, and that's okay. And sorry to burst the bubble, but employees shouldn't feel grateful just to work for Solactive, Solactive should be grateful to have them
Company is already onto CloudNative path.
Company should stopped being micromanaged by top management, a lot of people are leaving. Trust your employees!!! The average tenure is 2 years, that speaks very poorly of the management. They should aim to stop behaving as a 40 people FinTech and try to move towards a established organization structure.
Der am besten bewertete Faktor von Solactive ist Kollegenzusammenhalt mit 4,0 Punkten (basierend auf 17 Bewertungen).
I have found many technical expertise in every team
Great within the team, aweful when it came to the relationship with leaders
This is quite okay, but a lot of gossips and speaking behind peoples back
The cohesion within the teams and also across teams is simply outstanding! There really is a unique team spirit here.
Great colleagues with international background.
Der am schlechtesten bewertete Faktor von Solactive ist Work-Life-Balance mit 3,0 Punkten (basierend auf 19 Bewertungen).
Some departments appear to have it easy, while others are clearly under pressure... for example, receiving emails on Sundays doesn’t exactly scream work-life balance
None, mainly because of the stress at work and the constant fear of getting fired.
Tasks are very time consuming, very often above 12h per day
Endless unpaid overtime
No one cares!
Karriere/Weiterbildung wird mit durchschnittlich 3,1 Punkten bewertet (basierend auf 13 Bewertungen).
Nothing at all. Most people leave at 2 years, to find something better.
no clear development strategy for employees
very limited possibilities
Workshops with external coaches to improve the personal skillset.
Courses on time management, SQL or Python and alike are offered during working hours. CFA and alike is not directly supported
