- Find a nicer office
At nestpick, there was a feeling of family when it came to the company's low-level employees. This lead to many friendships developing, and excellent networking for future endeavors.
Management was unwilling to listen to employees, even when it came to legal violations the company was committing.
Ethics violations were also common practice, including forcing current employees to write positive reviews for the company on online portals such as TrustPilot and this one. Press contacts were staged, and answers were almost never honest.
Short-termism was also the standard practice, which would lead to several mass-firings, budget cuts, and the eventual (almost) folding of the company, as well as the firing of the founding members and eventual move, back to the VC headquarters and away from nestpick's former independent office.
