The company successfully managed to accomplish most of the possible mistakes a startup can do.
One of the most controversial topic is the company's budget.
On one hand the management states the company has been never in such a good shape (especially when half of the coworkers left the LocaFox less than a year ago) on the other hand there is a permanent issue with available costs:
- permanent budget cut from anywhere possible
- in the same time money is burning during activities that do not provide any value
- most of the IT coworkers are located abroad (=cheap labor)
- the ones in the local office are underpaid
- many of the colleagues are wearing multiple hats
There is no clear vision of what is it we are trying to create, what do we believe that we can deliver. Despite of the plans available for the quarter they are almost 100% sales goals, without explanation of "why".
One of the main postulate of the company is to be transparent and share the learnings.
None of this really happens, the information if often being withdrawn and the management doesn't really learn from the previous mistakes made.
