One of the strongest assets of the company. Very supportive and cheerful colleagues from different cultural backgrounds. Warm talks during the breaks (flexible time). Many people make real friendship. Easily approachable management not only for work-related questions, but also personal situations.
As was mentioned above, the supervisors and management are very approachable. There is a room for improvement of setting the tasks and micromanagement. Proactivity is strongly encouraged, but actions shall be discussed with the supervisors in a clear way.
A part of the working atmosphere. Everyone can easily come to a colleague, who is more experienced in a certain field, and get the necessary support or training.
Another strong point. A great place for the people with active mindset and willingness to learn and share the knowledge. Very broad range of chemistries, techniques and approaches. Possibility to work in different groups, as well as voluntarily participate in solving complex problems to challenge your mind and get a hands-on experience. Recently the management is very committed to assigning the people to the tasks/groups basing on the individual strong points.
Absence of extra bureaucracy makes communication somewhat less structured that one may expect, but provides a great opportunity to develop one of the most important skills to deliver your ideas and results in a clear, precise and convincing way.
Karriere / Weiterbildung
There are positive changes. Recently the company started to introduce more training programs both internally and externally for the employees, who show good performance. The experience the people get in the company (provided responsible and active mindset) is extremely valuable both from technical point of view and developing soft skills. Internal carrier opportunities are quite limited due to the size of the company, but it also means there is a big space for actively participating in company development to change it for better.
Gehalt / Sozialleistungen
The salary level requires improvement, but also depends on individual performance . Payments are done always in time.
Everyone has an access to sufficient number of computers with necessary software directly at the work place including laboratories. The equipment is maintained at a good level. Damaged equipment is removed from service immediately. Good level of safety.
The main point here is the presence of the shift system. This ensures very efficient work-flow for delivering competitive solutions for the customers. It may be difficult for some people, but on the other hand provides very high level of flexibility: there is a possibility to shift your work time very simply when there is a need, for a example, to have an appointment, come back from a travel etc. This can be easily negotiated with a supervisor provided that the work done in a responsible way.
- Introduction of a bonus system to better address achievements of the employees. Providing more holidays. Better transparency in terms of ongoing projects / perspectives / aims / values to encourage involvement of the people in the company development (common goal).
Very positive working atmosphere, flexibility in many aspects, very interesting and challenging tasks, as well as the shift towards significant positive changes from the management side.
