Strong focus on startup culture.
The product evolves constantly and work efforts result in real changes for the customers. Though the high speed takes its toll on employees. Exhaustion is increasing and motivation is dropping.
The product was rushed to market in record time. While some departments earn praise for it others suffer the repercussions.
Generally transparent (from team lead to founders). Feedback always encouraged.
Management keeps pushing for the big breakthrough but offers little in return for the average employees extraodinary efforts.
For both team and company very high.
Team shows daily appreciation and support for each other.
Cross team communication generally works really well too. Everybody is open for feedback and wants to make things happen.
Many repetitive tasks but also more interesting projects if you look for them. Own input expected. Impact of projects are often felt immediately. This is satisfying.
Monthly company meeting where founders and managers share deep insights regarding strategy and financial state of the company, followed by a Q&A session.
Generally informal, direct & respectful communication throughout whole company. Negative points are generally discussed openly and appropriately.
Not sure about salaries but responsibilities are definitely not dependent on gender, religion, sexual orientation etc..
There are many amazingly talented & hard working women at Zeitgold and everyone appreciates that.

There is a lot of potential to grow within the company. Many senior employees have done this and due to the company's rapid growth and changes employees have to do the same.
Nobody is entitled to promotions. There are opportunities but they are not granted for free.
Gehalt / Sozialleistungen
Above average salaries for starters, room for improvement for more experienced professionals. Wide variety of food (breakfast, lunch & dinner) that make expensive lunch or pre-cooked meals obsolete.
Ticket for BVG would be nice.
Very nice office. New hardware (choose between Windows laptop or MacBook). Multiple Screens. Comfy chairs and well-equipped meeting rooms. Quiet spaces.
Huge kitchen with full fridges and amazing coffee machine. Air conditioning for hot summer days. Arena for ping pong etc.. Huge courtyard for working or relaxing outside.
Umwelt- / Sozialbewusstsein
Lots of Bio products and fresh quality bread daily. Company aims to digitalize bookkeeping and works entirely digital itself.
There is home office and very flexible office hours. Doctors appointment, child sick, bring your dog? No problem.
No official time tracking. This results in many extra hours of work that will never be given back in time off or money. This also means everybodies dedication will be forgotten.
Workload is heavy and can mostly not be managed within the contracts working hours.
Generally everybody likes working at Zeitgold for its extensive startup culture. Most are convinced of the products potential and are willing too ignore its flaws.
- Allow more time for product development & testing. Expand accounting team and give them a raise. Enroll a universal tool for time tracking.
Culture & Colleagues
Rash decisions leave many aspects unregarded. Consequences are suffered by the ones who did not participate in those decisions.
