Man ist nicht einfach nur eine Nummer, der CEO ist ein Mensch mit Herz und kennt alle seine Schaefchen und ist sehr bemueht, dass alle ihren Platz bei Genedata finden. Es gibt gute Ideen im Team, die aber nicht unterstützt werden. Daher geht es langsam oder gar nicht voran und die Leute tendieren dazu ihre Bereiche zu verteidigen anstatt zusammen Lösungen zu finden. Das erschafft Barrieren, die kaum zu durchdringen sind und fördert Apathie.
Software Entwicklung wird eher als Nachsatz gesehen, der halt den wichtigen Dingen folgen muss.

The company is in transition from small to medium size. Although it is necessary to establish operating procedures, this shouldn't hinder the "small company" feeling that makes working at Genedata special. Exploring beyond your defined tasks should be encouraged.

Slowly but surely this company grows "into" size (not only regarding amount of employees) where clear structures (not hierarchies!), conventions, guidelines become more and more important, valuable and even necessary. There are related initiatives running but i think there can still be invested some more.
