Was Mitarbeitende sagen
Was Mitarbeitende gut finden
Work-Life Balanace
The company made an effort to promote an open feedback culture, which is commendable in principle, although it was not always successfully implemented in practice. Everyone is fearing for their job or being judged on a personal level, not on a professional one. Additionally on the positive side, the teams were generally very supportive and collegial, and the international environment made for an interesting and diverse workplace experience.
Currently nothing, just surviving
International character makes the working atmosphere unique and interesting, the fun factor is given. Flat hierarchies are very helpful in the day-to-day business.
Diversity and inclusivity is part of the culture and this makes this a fun place to work. Management are very approachable and the hierarchy is relatively flat.
Was Mitarbeitende schlecht finden
Strategieloses Handeln, undurchdachte Vorgehensweise, hire-fire Mentalität
The company’s management culture was toxic, with favoritism and personal connections overshadowing merit and performance. Career growth was limited to those within management circles, and extremely high turnover resulted from leadership issues, not employee performance. Management remained largely unchanged, while lower-level employees were constantly replaced. While teams were supportive, poor business decisions and unprofessional behavior, such as shouting, micromanagement or an upper management who struggled to meet the expectation of their role consistently, hurt morale. Nice try!
Inappropriately qualified people are employed in the respective departments, qualified employees are sent out literally due to racial discrimination.
Human Resources give out “exit interviews” - no one will tell you the truth.
Too much fear, insecurity..people are scared and trying to survive, just with that poor Leadership nothing will change. More and more people will leave the company- including myself. I’m already applying for a new job.

HR mit etwas mehr Hirn betreiben
Genuinely listen to employees and show appreciation for those who are committed to the company's success. Foster open, sincere communication and create a true culture of trust and respect. Focus on making strategic business decisions based on facts and broader input, rather than relying on the influence of toxic management figures. Address unprofessional behavior, such as shouting ("Business excellence"!), which often signals deeper issues, rather than ignoring or rewarding it.
Change of Management Team , toxic colleagues need to change or to leave company
Allow for Employee Autonomy, try to be focused on the positive, more possibilities of professional growth for ALL
The immediate team was composed of talented, supportive colleagues who made daily work enjoyable. Unfortunately, poor management decisions and a lack of genuine support from leadership frequently undermined team cohesion and morale, leading to high turnover and instability.
Strong team spirit and sense of community. Every one is always happy to help and you feel that you can trust your colleagues
Great colleagues from all over the world (as evidenced by the exotic snacks constantly appearing in the kitchen!).
colleagues are helping each other to find quick solutions
This is the only thing which works in the company quite well. People are polite to each other and help out if necessary.
Am schlechtesten bewertet: Karriere/Weiterbildung
Der am schlechtesten bewertete Faktor von Canadian Solar EMEA ist Karriere/Weiterbildung mit 2,1 Punkten (basierend auf 18 Bewertungen).
Career advancement opportunities were extremely limited and largely reserved for those who had longstanding ties within management circles, often requiring many years of internal networking rather than performance-based progression. Rather than addressing issues within management, the company often chose to rapidly replace employees, missing opportunities to improve leadership practices and retain valuable talent.
Sind in einem Konzern sicherlich größer aber bei entsprechendem Engagement und sonstiger Eignung ist das auch hier möglich
Criteria for career advancement not known, hardly any further training for employees, personal development is blocked or suppressed by the atmosphere of fear
Almost not existing. Barely no money is spent for individual development.
