Despite the dynamic environment, there is a relaxed and friendly working atmosphere. On Friday evenings you meet for a beer and play a round at the cicker. The office is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport. The nearby restaurants are also perfect for lunch. The rooms themselves are spacious. Due to the rapid growth of Cluno it will soon be very cramped. Unfortunately, the offices are not equipped in a modern way and the volume level is very loud due to the open construction method.
All team leads I have worked with are absolute specialists in their field. Feedback was always goal-oriented and constructive. For example, if there were processes that were ineffective or outdated over time, we worked together with the team on new implementations. The employees are often left to take the lead in their area of expertise. Realistic goals are set. If the targets are not achieved, the controls are often too strict. Due to the open CRM software Salesforce every process can and will be checked.
Not only in my department but through-out the whole company I experienced a great solidarity. Everyone is interested in you as a person and your academical way. Apart from that you can always ask anyone for help and be certain to get help or an advice right away. In my department there are also regular team meetings and lunches. This way not only the great team spirit is being kept up but you also get to know the new colleagues since the company is rapidly growing.
My tasks varied and were very diverse. Most of them were very interesting and challenging. That is what I loved about it! In total the interesting tasks dominated. Cluno often says they are a Start-Up company. There were once - but no more. So you will have a fixed task area. Special projects that differ from the daily business occure less than expected.
Overall the internal communication is working well. You either directly go to the person you need something from or you ask them on Slack. The latter is super convenient in case you or the other person is on a project because you mostly get answer within the next half an hour. In my department you could always ask anyone for help. Sometimes tasks were not completely communicated and then it could happen that they could not be executed sufficiently. However the supervisors are always open for valid criticism as they want to be as efficient as possible and everything to work out smoothly.
Just look at the "About us" section on the website and see for yourself. The variety of different sexes and types are present for sure.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
As one of the founder once said in a Stand-Up-Meeting: "find people who are better than yourself and hire them". The age reaches from twenty to the end of fifty. So you will meet alot of different types with whom you can share and learn.
Karriere / Weiterbildung
In the medium term, cluno will develop an english corporate culture. Employees whose English skills are not good were offered free English courses. Apart from that, there were regular salesforce training courses.
The workload is extremely high. Who doesn't know how to prioritize tasks correctly will definitely learn it at Cluno. The office itself is unfortunatelly furnished very cooly. Especially cool: in the sixth floor you will find a chill out area with a coffee machine, kicker, couches, TV and a roof terrace. Fresh fruits comes tuesday and thursday. By the time I am writing this, meal vouchers were offered for the upcoming months.
The workload is relatively high due to the strong growth. However, additional benefits, events / company outings and sports offers counteract this. At Cluno there is always lots of work to do. This is why you mostly do not leave the office on point. It always depends on your current amount of work. However I never felt obligated to do so. I really liked working there and you did not mind staying there for longer but it´s certainly not the typical nine to five job.

We are pleased that you feel that the feedback culture at Cluno is very appreciative and that you recognize the high importance of equality within the company. Thank you also for the improvement hints you have put up: We are aware that our current office situation still has room for improvement, mainly due to our strong growth. In the course of the next year a solution will be needed and we are currently already looking for a suitable one. The high workload you mention doesn't stay away completely in a start-up like Cluno it is, of course. It is nevertheless important to us that our colleagues never feel obligated to do so and that they receive sufficient compensation measures, e.g. through our events, benefits or the like. It is great to know that you are part of our journey and we will continue to work on the points you have mentioned, because room for improvement exists always and everywhere.
