Verbesserungsvorschläge

I would recommend InterNations to continue its efforts to be as eco-friendly as possible. InterNations should also continue to keep up the good work by offering feedback rounds to its team members and making sure that all suggestions are taken on board or at least considered.
This would turn into a multiple pages text so just read the things I stated above

  • The three founders have all lived and worked abroad. Like many other expatriates, they noticed how tiring and time-consuming it could be to gather all the necessary information before moving to another country and build up a network of social and professional contacts at their new location. This is how they came up with the idea to create a platform where people who were in the same situation could share their experiences and learn about the different countries and cities.

  • Whereas other expatriate networks are mostly locally driven and focus on a certain nationality or destination, InterNations operates on a global level and is present in almost 400 cities across the world. The platform is not only a way to connect with other expatriates and get information online, but members can actually meet each other face-to-face at local events and activities. Unlike other platforms, InterNations members are hand selected by a dedicated multicultural team in order to ensure the high quality of the network.

  • Approximately 100 employees representing more than 30 nationalities work at the InterNations headquarters in Munich. This office is responsible for the management of all of the InterNations Communities around the world from London and New York to Quito and Baghdad. Find out more about our different departments!

In recent times I have noticed that my supervisor and management in general have made the salary topic much more transparent, especially in the last official feedback talk of the year. I also think this entirely depends on what team you're working in.

As said before, either quite good or extremely poor. No monetary benefits. Always on time.

salaries are always paid on time and quite fair taking the Munich market into account. they have a pension plan in place and a great deal with a bank for their employees. however there are no bonuses or any other benefits.

Okay for regular employees, I guess. Can't say anything about salary on management level, obviously. Considering that this is Munich, the salary might be a bit better, but I honestly can't say whether this is due to the actual salary or to the plain crazy living costs around here (esp. for new arrivals facing the local rental market for the first time!). I really like having a sponsored company pension plan, though.

There are a lot of different things that are offered to me, such as workshops and also individual trainings based on my needs. I have completed several online courses and they proved very helpful for my daily work.

Jeder der lernen will, kann hier etwas lernen. Eigeninitiative und proaktives Nutzen der angebotenen Möglichkeiten sind gefragt.

Während des Praktikums lernt man viele neue Sachen. Viele Training Sessions und Workshops von Mitarbeitern sogar external Speakers werden angeboten. Die Praktikanten kommen von viele verschiedene Nationen, also man lernt auch viele neue Leute sowie ihre Kulturen kennen, das finde ich sehr interessant.
Ich kann InterNations nur weiterempfehlen, es ist ein großartiges „Training-Feld“ für Studierende.

I really appreciate that we do have regular offers in the form of monthly lectures and workshops, as well as free German lessons for our non-German employees. But I think further education and training options need to be a lot better integrated into personal skills development and career path planning.
