You'll find some really nice colleagues here from all over the world. Some people are kind and helpful but some just pretend in order to protect their own job. You better always watch your back.
Depends on the manager for sure. Most managers have their backs to the wall and are busy to cover their own buttoms. Don't expect any support, trust or honesty.

Absolutely! The business is super fast-paced and consistantly growing. If you don't mind the strategy changes from day to day and you'll have to kiss a lot of buttoms to maintain working on the interesting tasks - this is your job!
There are stand-ups and all-hands meetings on a regular basis. But this is only to make people believe in what management says and follow them like a horde of lemmings. Credos are repeated over and over again like in a sect.
People don't care who you are, what you are or where you are from. Human resources are considered expendable labour but they are all treated the same, regardless of age, sex, confession.

There are almost no elderly colleagues within mytaxi. It's still a start-up with a lot of young and wild childs!

mytaxi mytraining is our internal academy. Employees who think to be good at something may provide classes to others. Nice try, but professional career planning looks different.

mytaxi acts like a big player but still pays like a start-up. If you wanna make a big deal, you should know someone from C-level or just choose another company.
The location directly at river Elbe is absolutely awesome! You can watch sunrises, sunsets and a lot of boats from your office (if your office is facing to the right side and you have time to stare out of the window...). Public transport to HQ is a mess.
Umwelt- / Sozialbewusstsein
mytaxi provides free taxi rides for its employees. Therefore people take a taxi instead of a bike which is not environment friendly. On the other hand some departments work on an eco fleet and on scooters which is a good thing.
Forget about it. Everybody is working for two and it's still not sufficient. mytaxi claims to be an innovative company so they prefere "trust-based working hours" which only means that we all work overtime and do not get compensated.
The brand is super hip, super fancy, super agile, everybody would dream to work here. But as so many times, reality is different. And in this case: very different...
- "Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes... but no plans." Outsourcing departments in the future will save money but will lead to a crucial lack of control. Bad idea. "Rank does not confer privilege or give power. It imposes responsibility."
The location (Hamburg HQ) is really nice and the branch is very interesting. The product is an ingenious nobrainer with a lot of potential.
Management is doing things right, leadership is doing the right things. If mytaxi goes on fooling its employees, I wonder when it's gonna collapse like a cardhouse - no matter how intense Daimler and BMW will breastfeed it.
