I think it is a comfortable place to come to work to. The people are nice. The environment, before it was polluted by all these unhappy people who only spread negativity, was perfectly fine! Easy going.
Some employees, now ex-employees, have made it really uncomfortable for the ones who are staying by spreading bad words because of personal issues. It's not respectful vis a vis your colleagues.

Was Mitarbeiter schlecht finden

Very old fashioned, tries to be modern but since management doesn't change, they always fall back to the old ways. They have waves of people leaving every year. Another is coming soon. Last time it was up to 50 people leaving or being fired because they didn't like them.

Where to begin. I think the best way to describe the company is that over the course of the last year, over 30 people left the company or was fired (roughly 20 within the 6 months); in an office with around 60 people. That’s 1/3 of everyone, who were scared away or thrown out. Most of the none-management people there are constantly afraid of getting fired, and it shows every single day.
There is an absurd amount of control and ...
• Negative atmosphere
• Leadership style without focus on people as valuable resource
• No sustainable thinking and employee retention – you let talents and loyal employees just go, giving a feeling that everyone is replaceable. “Go if you don’t like it”. Employees join the company and leave managers
• No education strategy, no opportunity to develop one’s career

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Communication could be improved by making information more transparent.
Supervisors could put a focus on praise. This strengthens self-confidence and self-esteem of the employees.
Of course, you can't please everyone, but especially fairness and trust strengthen the working atmosphere. This is something that can always be worked on.

I read the last very negative comments and was wondering, if these former colleguages may commented on the wrong company. I like it here for quite a long time already. I am well informed. I am really angry, that they are talking about my place to work in this horrible way. I like it here for many years and many other do also. I am not at all badly treated.

I have an impression that many decisions regarding people management are taken accidently, without clear strategy and social responsibility. Due to several dismissals and terminations that followed, there is no community at work anymore - people talk about recent employees fluctuation, about the reasons for leaving the company. Most of the ex-colleagues didn’t want to be a part of eGENTIC anymore. It’s almost 25% of the whole sales team within the last few weeks. Hearing of someone leaving the company ...

public dislikes this company, which is connected to planet49 (before renaming it because of the bad image). Googling it will make you question whether you want to really work here.
this company has a bad image, in Germany and in other countries with clients, the public and agencies.
I mean... At this point, what image? To be brutally honest, if you ask around in the lead gen world, eGENTIC is very quickly getting a very very bad reputation. One thing is that they openly cheat on a lot of their competitions; thats fine and all. But the news is also spreading about how they treat their employees. For instance, a huge article was made about eGENTIC not long ago in a premiere norwegian newspaper. And this happens regularly.
They use brands illegally (e.g. logotype for ALDI, Samsung or Apple) to generate leads to sell them to other companies. They trick old people to compete in their shit because they believe this is a lottery made from the companies above.
The image within the industry is top-notch. The problem is with the industry itself due to the fact that we are dealing with consumer data.

most middle management people are stuck at their positions so there is no way up in marketing as well as sales. they gave fake positions to a few people to make them happy with titles but other than that no real way up.
No chance to grow. People in higher positions are too comfortable and will not move, even if they are bad, management doesn't see it. That's why not just me but others will leave soon.

Being a very flat hierarchy place, you get stuck. but then again, it's a small company you can't expect much. If you want more: leave! With a competitor: you'll always have the same issue in this niche sector we work in: companies are never big. We are among the larger ones! Go to an agency, change jobs!
